Disability Discrimination Act (2006) - Access Statement

• There is a tarmac driveway in front of the guest house with ample parking for guests and also lock-up facilities for bicycles.


• There is a hand rail on the on the right hand side to assist with the eight steps leading to the front door. These steps are well lit at night, maintaining your safety.


• The dining room/guest lounge is situated on the ground floor outside the room is a table on which a bell is placed for guests to ring for attention.


• Directly in front of the dining room are a flight of thirteen stairs, there are hand rails on both sides to assist access if required.


• Once ascended the bathroom with shower facilities are located on this level


• A further two steps to the first floor enable access to both bedrooms.


• Upon a bookcase outside the rooms are leaflets to provide guests with information about local and historic attractions in the area.


• The large en-suite twin room is directly in front with shower.


• On the right is situated the double room.


• Both rooms have a radio alarm clock, hair drier, television & guest tray for making refreshments. Free Wifi is also available. There are smoke alarms situated on all floors. At Frith Lodge there is a no smoking policy to comply with Health & Safety legislation.


• Full English breakfast, continental breakfast is available. Individual dietary needs are catered for on request.
